What is it?

Inbody is a body composition scan.

What does it do?

The Inbody machine measures your weight and determines what your body composition is made of.  In other words it details your body fat, muscle, water that makes up your body.  It also calculates your visceral (fat sitting around your organs) as well as basal metabolic rate (calouries you burn at resting just to maintain your normal bodily functions).

This is imperative if you are starting on a fitness journey so you can calculate whether or not the steps you’re taking are working for you.  It maintains a record of your progress along the way.

When do I take it?

Best time is first thing in the morning before eating and exercising.
